FischerSpooner @ ShowBox

Seeing FischerSpooner last night at the ShowBox was incredible. They are definitely the strangest band I’ve ever seen, but then I’ve never seen GWAR so I have little reference. Regardless, I’m running out to pick up the US version of their album #1. The show was short but sweet, maybe 60 minutes in all. Dancers, intense beats, fake blood and a boatload of attitude, good times.

My Nikon 80-200 Lens @ Ebay

Couldn’t help but put in a plug for the lens I’m selling on Ebay, just in case you’re at all interseted. The lens is a beautiful 80-200 f/2.8 zoom. Too bad it became such a dust collector, I really enjoyed shooting with it but it’s just too damned big to carry around.

Compulsory Music Licensing

I’m posting a link to an article by EFF attoryney Fred von Lohmann. It’s a short but interesting read on how P2P networks could charge for music downloading. I for one wouldn’t be opposed to paying a fixed amount each month for all-you-can-eat music though I wonder if this solution is truly viable.
