To Be Hacked
Last week I was having a drink at a friend’s house when someone asked me to show them some photos from a recent party. I fired up his browser, pointed it at planettroy.com and found that I had been hacked. The hack wasn’t severe by any means, though I did lose my home page. “Zee Evil Russians” replaced my front page with their own. No explanation of why or how, just a nice note that I was hacked. I guess that means they can come back since I still don’t know how they did it. Is there a hole in MovableType? Maybe. Did they scrape my password? Maybe, dunno. Regardless, kudos.
The only strange thing is, past that they decided to hack me, is that I recently received an email, from a known friend, to an explicit email address at planettroy.com saying he hacked my site. I have yet to hear from him. I’m assuming he’s being abused by zee evil russians. If anyone has any ideas on who/how this happened I’d love to hear about it.
